About Us
Vijesh & Nanditha, a couple based out of Tulunadu joined hands to blend vibrant weaves together. In the year 2011, when vendors were largely operating on mass-produced/bulk purchase apparel, Mangaluru, the coastal gateway of Karnataka faced a genuine dearth of carefully curated ethnic apparel. This prompted the duo’s journey from a 420 sq.ft. outlet at Mangaluru’s Bejai to what has become Zari Couture today.
The journey began with Zari Couture offering choices on ready-to-wear and Unstitched Salwars & Kurtis, Semi-Precious & Costume Jewellery, Clutch Bags, Potli Bags, Mobile Pouches, Jutti and accessories catering to a wide variety of audience. As of 2023, Zari Couture has gone on to include a standalone store, multiple outlets and also venture into diversified segments, notably Zari Junior, the kids wear segment.
Zari understands that its customers are constantly on the lookout for an exquisite collection of various shades and different materials. This is what led Zari to procure and showcase one-of-a-kind apparel at its outlets. Running parallel at Zari is the welcoming ambience and a collection of merchandise that kindle fondness for all those who have walked into Zari at some point in time.
